Hey! I’m Julia.
Photography to me is as much about conserving moments as it is about reading the light and interpreting vibes. My photos show my view of the world.
I first picked up a DSLR camera in 2018. But it wasn’t until years later, that I actually became serious about it. I spent countless hours practicing out in the field. Wildlife and nature photography in Australia had been the biggest catalyst for growth. I then added portraits and product shoots to the portfolio.
With a background in Consumer Sciences and professional experience in the Venture Capital space, startup founders have always impressed me. At WOTAMA, I specifically focus on product and brand photography by offering small businesses tailored photos infused with my business and marketing thinking. In that sense, I’m not just your photographer, I am your branding expert helping bring your visual story to life.
Being able to combine my passion of photography with other activities is such a bonus. I can go hiking, explore new places, travel, get active in the outdoors with friends and bring my camera along to create memories. As much as I enjoy the outdoors and shooting, I also love editing photos – usually at nighttime when everything is quiet.
